Student Pilot

“I was a student pilot flying a flight school rental aircraft. The engine failed in flight and I crashed into the roof of a building. Luckily I survived the crash, but I received very serious injuries. The NTSB said they thought I ran out of fuel and that this was my fault. I knew this was not true. I contacted several law offices in New Mexico and not one of them would take my case. That’s when I went online and found eLawyersLive.com. I was contacted by one of their attorneys, David Wood, who flew to New Mexico to speak with me and analyze my case. Mr. Wood accepted my case and began a thorough investigation of this accident resulting in the filing of a lawsuit on my behalf. They pursued the case in an aggressive and professional manner and eventually obtained a very substantial recovery that will provide for me for the rest of my life. Thank you eLawyersLive.com. I don’t know what I would have done without you.”

The Case of The Missing Bank Deposit

Over a number of years, Many (true name withheld) worked his way up from a dishwasher to the night manager in a n eighborhood restaurant. One of his duties was to collect the days receipts, and at the end of the night put the money In a bank deposit pouch and drop the pouch in the night depository at the local bank.

One December evening, he was called into the office by his boss who said that in auditing the deposits, a deposit from back in September was missing. The boss made it clear that though he trusted his employee completely, but the fact was that the deposit was, indeed missing. Our client was devastated.

The boss and Manny went to the bank and requested that the manager re-inspect the night depository to see if the deposit could be stuck in it in some way. A week later the manager reported that the night depository had been taken apart and inspected and the missing deposit was not found. The owner of the restaurant said that he had no choice but to fire the employee - in spite of the fact that it was just before Christmas.

He suffered severe emotional distress, depression and stress and constant nausea that he had done nothing wrong, yet to his family, and to his boss for whom he had worked for many years, it looked like he might have done something to cause the loss of that deposit. He couldn't sleep, he cried, he withdrew into himself. And then he had a severe stroke that paralyzed the left side of his body.

A couple of months later, what do you know, the bank found the missing deposit. Manny decided to contact a lawyer and the lawyers of “elawyerslive.com” agreed to investigate the matter, Manny had no funds to pay for the attorneys, but the elawyerslive attorneys agreed to take Manny’s case on a contingency fee basis and share in any recovery that might be obtained. It turned out that the bank had never disassembled the night depository to find the deposit made by Manny and that the report from the bank was false. Another very big customer of the bank also lost a deposit on January and demanded the night depository machine be disassembled and inspected. The bank complied with this demand and not only found their missing deposit but the deposit that was missing from the restaurant in September.

The lawyers of “elawyerslive.com” filed an action against the bank and eventually obtained a very generous settlement for Manny from the bank to help care for him for a long time to come.
